Jodi Davis Will Address Audience at Jill Davis Intensive Care Nursing Conference

Jodi Davis will welcome the audience at the Jill Davis Intensive Care Nursing Conference October 28 in Minneapolis. This well-attended annual conference, sponsored by Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, is dedicated to enhancing nursing education related to pediatric cardiology. The conference is in memory of Jodi’s daughter Jill, who was born with a severe congenital heart malformation and died in 1982.

“I’m pleased to address this audience of nurses specializing in the intensive care needs of critically ill children,” said Davis. “I am grateful to these nurses who dedicate their time to improve outcomes for children. Nurses are vitally important to the care of children.”

The conference on October 28 and 29 will draw nurses from all over the metro area. The continuing education seminar will cover innovative care, and it is a unique opportunity to bring nurses together.

About the Jill Davis Nursing Education Fund

The Jill Davis Intensive Care Nursing Fund was created by Stephen and Jodi Davis and their children Jennifer, Timothy, and Beth Davis in memory of their daughter and sister, Jill, who died following open -heart surgery at the age of thirteen months. It was their hope that, through this fund, annual continuing education in intensive care nursing would allow nurses to give children the high quality care that Jill received.
