Each of us is a unique being – a magnificent expression of the Universe. When born, we are granted the opportunity of a lifetime – an opportunity to realize our true self and our potential. At the moment of our birth, we embark on a lifelong journey of discovery. The path we take is filled with many choices, great possibility and immense power.
The journey may be exhilarating and motivate us to explore many diverse passages. Alternatively, our road may be lonely and it may not be easy to follow. The journey does not come with directions. The course through life may be steep, winding, or it may even lead us into darkness and despair. But with each step forward, we must keep in mind that we are not really alone. As we journey, in the best outcomes, we find our contentment and peace.
If we follow the road with an open heart, it will take us to a place where we can find truth. The true essence of our life comes from first looking deep within our being to discover ourselves. We must search to see the gems that make us unique. As human beings, creations of the Universe, we are treasures of the Earth. Each of us comes with unique talents, strengths, needs and complex characteristics. We are multifaceted, extraordinary individuals, each possessing life’s inherent gift of great potential.
We are like diamonds, the most precious of gems. Diamonds are valued for their strength, brilliance, uniqueness and beauty. Just like mining for diamonds, we need to dig deep to know ourselves. If we invest in discovering our truth and developing our visions – for all we want to be – we, too, can realize our strength and brilliance. We, too, can radiate and shine.
To know who we are, to accept who we are, and to live authentically is to treasure our inner diamond and ourselves. There are many magnificent roads that can lead to a life of fulfillment. And there are several ways we can prepare for our passage and ensure its success. Our life is merely a journey and an exploration of our potential. Each step we take is an opportunity for growth and development. The passageway begins with awareness.
